MB2001 Dual Channel Instrument Amplifier

"Real World Applications" require sophisticated sensor interfaces, and the MB2001 MechaBlox card makes sensor interfacing a snap.

The MB2001 is a dual channel Instrumentation amplifier interface. Based upon Analog Devices® AD624 Instrumentation amplifier, it interfaces easily with Bridge based transducers such as pressure transducers, as well as single-ended devices such as photodiodes.

The dual channels of the M2001 are completely independent. Each has it's own variable gain and offset control.

The MB2001 has an onboard wide input voltage range power supply +5VDC @200mA.

The MB2001 comes ready to use, preprogrammed with MechaView software which supports both simple standalone RS232C interface applications, or more complex networked RS485.

All software source code is available under a GPL license. The MB2001 can be reprogrammed using the inexpensive Atmel AVRISP device and free Atmel AVR Studio software (available from www.atmel.com for teaching, experimentation or other custom applications.
